High School Literature Description: This course is a structured high school literature course covering several different genres of literature organized into units that explore conflict, character, theme, point of view, structure, and tone. Students will study contemporary and classic American, British, and world authors in four genres: fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and drama. Selections include discussion questions to promote critical thinking skills.
