Cursive for 6th-12th Grades Description: This class will be taught by an occupational therapist. Handwriting is a product of neurological, motor, cognitive, and language skills. This is a class that will use a multi-sensory approach, to address different areas that affect handwriting. Moskowitz, DOT, MS, OTR/L, FAOTA, will be used in this class. Her approach has been shown to "supplement any evidence-based literacy program." Cost: $150/semester course fee, no charter funds accepted Teacher Info: Aimee Palma, [email protected], 530-813-6115 Books Required: Students will be required to purchase a workbook, approximate price $25.
