ELA Grammar Focus

Description: This is a supplemental course designed to help students master the concepts of English grammar.  We will study parts of speech, sentence structure, word usage, and diagram a lot of sentences.  There will be a small amount of homework.  Students will create a grammar notebook throughout the class that can be used as a grammar reference guide.  NOTE: This is not a writing class, and can be taken in addition to our writing and literature classes. For students taking all three classes, this class may possibly be considered an elective credit, while their writing and literature classes make up their English credit.
