Storytime & Craftitivity (TK-2nd )
Description: In this engaging class, young learners will build foundational literacy skills through rich story experiences and creative, hands-on crafts. Each class features carefully selected picture books, fostering growth in listening comprehension, vocabulary development, sequencing, and story structure. After each read-aloud, children will participate in craft projects that deepen their understanding of story elements while supporting fine motor development and personal expression. Designed to nurture a love of reading and creativity, this class offers a joyful and supportive environment where students make meaningful connections between language, art, and the world around them. This course focuses on early literacy and phonological awareness, but is not a comprehensive ELA or reading program. It is a supplementary class geared toward developing a love for learning and literature.
